About the Artist

Molly Collins is a California-based artist, teacher, and naturalist with more than 35 years of experience inspiring others through creativity. Known for her large public murals across the San Bernardino Mountains — including the iconic “Extinct California Grizzly” mural at Goodwin’s Market in Crestline — Molly combines her love for art, nature, and education in every project she takes on.

She has created educational murals for George F Canyon Nature Center, the Big Bear Discovery Center, and has illustrated for organizations such as the Madrona Marsh Preserve and the Los Angeles Zoo. Partnering with Friends of Regional Parks, she has also led community paint events at Guasti and Mojave Narrows Regional Parks, raising awareness about the importance of preserving natural spaces.

Molly has taught thousands of children and adults through parks and recreation programs, homeschool and charter schools, and private workshops. She has also used art in healing, working with Totally Kids Children’s Hospital and developing therapeutic programs for individuals recovering from brain injuries, strokes, PTSD, and other challenges.

Through Molly’s Art Gallery in Crestline, she continues to bring art, culture, and creativity to the community, offering workshops, themed art events, and affordable classes for children and adults. Whether painting murals, teaching outdoors on nature walks, or leading community fundraisers, Molly shares her vision of art as a bridge between nature, healing, and human connection.
