Custom Murals by Molly Collins

My murals are custom created in styles ranging from realism and impressionism to fantasy and more artistic interpretations. Every piece is designed in collaboration with the client and painted to fit their space, personality, and vision.

Restored and faux-finished approximately nine tall interior pillars, along with baseboards and the altar rail, carefully matching the existing granite and marble finishes throughout the sanctuary at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (Los Angeles Archdiocese).

I was commissioned to create a large commemorative icon for the Year of Mercy, dedicated to Saint Faustina and Saint John Paul II, after our parish received their first-class relics and we returned from World Youth Day in Poland celebrating the Jubilee. Inspired by Our Lady of Częstochowa, the piece is titled God’s Amazing Grace and the Communion of Saints. It was formally blessed and dedicated on Divine Mercy Sunday, and a featured article (linked below) shares the story and inspiration behind the work.

Complete restoration of an eroded Sacred Heart of Jesus statue, including resin fabrication, repairing broken hands, rebuilding damaged areas, priming, and fully repainting the piece. Restored for the Norbertine Sisters within the Los Angeles Archdiocese.
